Writing Delays

As of late my work and studies have consumed my time dramatically. For this I am sorry, I want to provide each of you with a catalyst for growth, but I can’t do that if I do not write.

I have been writing each week on different things though didn’t get around to finishing the posts. I’ll get those out to you all and write some new ones too!!

I have the intention of writing more on what I know well such as fitness, nutrition, and supplementation.

The Fire of Passion Engulfs

Everyday my body, mind, and spirit yearns for the day where my goals are accomplished. At least to a degree that can be considered success. My body aches, my mind races, and my spirit feels broken. It won’t change until I can get these goals done, and my journey be progressed.

The U.L.C. Is a construct of ideology and life habits, put together in such a way that if pursued correctly could change the course if the world. This IS a world changing blog, and even though we quite aren’t there yet, there is hope for a new day. A better day.

We developed the Four Pillars Philosophy as a catalyst of transformation in your life. Allowing you discern which parts of your life are in decline, and which simply need be tempered. The balancing act of life, is aloof of all the wide range of effects that can deter your Pillars. Maintaining and cultivating them despite this, is a truly remarkable feat

It does not matter what age you start, although the earlier the better, as long as you pursue it with all your might. Let the wheels of time do very little to you, except improve.

Life is balance, not between two things, not even Four Pillars, but a balance between many different aspects of life that all intertwine. Being able to see what is bothering you and how to respond to that is something that takes great effort, but is well worth it in the end. Sometimes it comes down to using a little effort at the right point in time. Push through the challenges and pursue the perfect version of yourself.

Being an ULCian comes down to being the best version of you that you can become. For if we are to change the world, the first change must come from within.

Pursuing this ideal will allow you to cultivate new habits, chase after your dreams. This isn’t a place where the goals are accomplished. This is a place where the goals are made. We can help you towards that goal, but it is up to you in the end to finish it.

#makeachange in your own life and pursue any dream you want most in your heart. My friends, my family, my coworkers they do not understand the sheer amount of perseverance I will keep in order to achieve what I set out to. NO one in your life will either, it is up to you to see. Do not allow the others around you keep you from your own destiny. I truly believe you can do whatever you set your mind to, you just have to work for it!

Thank you all.

Get back up.

No matter how hard life hits you and brings you down, you need to remember one thing: “I am alive.” That very fact will propel you through your entire life because the moment it ceases to be true is the day not only do you die, but your dreams as well.

Get back up onto that grind, that goal chase, that newfound love, whatever you have your sights on. Simply chase it. Cultivate your habits to benefit you, and to push you farther towards that goal. Your life has one reason for living, or perhaps many reasons, but your job is to find it (them). Build your report and master your grind.

Being an ULCian means to be the best version of yourself, if you’re not there yet that is fine, but you have to get there.

Be a Creator. Be a Uniter. Be a Leader.

Here are some of Gandhi’s fundamentals of world change:

Gandhi’s Top 10 Fundamentals for Changing the World – positivityblog

“Change yourself….

Everyone is human….

continue to grow and evolve.”

These are just a couple lines from the article that simply resonate with imbued philosophy. I chose them as a way to consolidate the ideology into a simple idea follow on this post.

I love challenging myself.

Pushing to the next level any way I can. Mentally, physically, spiritually (ironically it takes patience with this one!), and even in ways I didn’t imagine before.

As an autodidact (self-learner) it is my responsibility to continuously teach myself new things and topics. Over the past year I’ve taught myself to sing at a professional level, I’ve studied a variety of topics but mainly focused on self development and languages. I’ve always loved communication. Learning other languages allows me to experience new connections with people that I would never have before. This is the cause of my insistence with people to pursue to at least some degree, of self development. It allows you to increase the daily benefits from your lives. I have made a multitude of social networking opportunities due to my diligence in this matter. I love the ability to talk to people.

I can only hope that some of this auto-didactic spirit rubs off on any of you. To pursue what you want to learn is something they don’t teach in school. I remember one of my greatest learning achievements back in high school (secondary school). Was when I decided to go to my school’s library and I ferociously burned through the entire philosophy and religion section. Getting a college level philosophy education all due to my curiosity.

Take these life challenges, learn more, and use that new-found knowledge to get back up on the battlefield. Who knows what you will face next, but you have to….no matter what…. GET BACK UP!

-Dustin PolyULCian

A Bold Face

Something I’ve struggled with all of my life is to encompass everything I’ve learned into one coherent mindset. Taking all the knowledge and skills and facing each challenge with my full potential. In a sense, having a bold face.

No challenge will ever make me fold, only because I am bold.

I will face my obstacles ahead, whether they are manifested internally or outward. I will make use of everything I know. Not only that I will continue to grow and foster the mind. Cultivate my body into the shape I desire, not for anyone but me. As a ULCians our first goal before anything else, is to make a change within ourselves to become the perfect version of ourselves. To become what we are meant to be as a person. Manifest the true you, on the outward plane. No matter what your religion or belief is you should do this, for not only would it make your spirit stronger, but makes the world stronger as well. If we all become the perfect version, then the world should technically become it’s perfect version too. At least to a degree!

Take life one step at….. no fuck that. Leap forward and be BOLD.

Brace Yourself!

This year is going to be a strong one, I can feel it in my bones. No matter what your goal is in life I want you to do one thing for the United Living Construct this year: #makeachange and share compassion. Get out there, find someone random, and make their day. It can start small like this, but let it grow over the next year. Share the happiness and kindness that you want in life as well. Treat people with respect and love.

Show the world the burning heart inside of you and you can accomplish anything you set your mind to!

I want to talk about something that is truly one of the biggest themes I ever want to get across on this blog: Balance.

Balance is the key to life, and we have talked about it before, but it was a time ago.

The Balance of Life

The Parallels of the Universe

Just so you can catch up! ^^^

In every aspect of life there is a certain duality to it that may or may not be hard to see. The sheer resonance of this ideology is outstanding. The practical impacts you may see once you take this into account is extraordinary. What I mean is that you really can’t ever have too much of one thing in life. Take for example the Body Pillar, if you stay a lazy slob you will just feel miserable and your life will cease to take on meaning, conversely if you over work your muscles by constantly working out then you will over train. As someone who has over trained myself I know the pain the muscles consistently get from it. I even had gotten to the point once where my rotatory cuff and shoulder blade started hurting. Which is concerning (so I took a week off!).

There has to be a balance between strengthening and relaxing.

Coming to the other Pillars of Life we have the Mind Pillar. This one is a complicated situation because it is really hard to tell when your mind truly ceases to have the capacity to work that day. After sleep it has time to recover for the next day. Some people might say I can totally tell when my mind is kaput. The thing is though that they really can’t, for the most part people don’t realize the hidden capabilities we all contain within. Our minds have so much inner endurance that we don’t use.

Take this for example:

40% Rule of the Mind

This goes to show the sheer capacity we have that we leave for granted every single day.

You must control your mind in order to gain access to it’s true potential. Now I am not talking about some “Limitless” technique, the power of belief even. This is on a fundamental level where there is such a thing as brain power. You have the capacity already, it is simply choosing the use it. For example in some my physical endeavors I have had some goals to reach. Two of the biggest being: Being able to swim underwater an entire length of the pool without coming up, and the other being able to do as much push ups as I can. (At one point making a goal of 300).

I have achieved that swimming goal about two dozen times in the four years I’ve worked at the pool. I tell my swim lessons there that in order for me to have done that, any of the times, I had to fight my own urge to come up for air. Scientifically speaking humans can hold their breath for about 3 min before having to come up. I’m not saying I can, but I have the capacity to, just like everyone else. When I started I would get about 80% of the way there before having to come up for air, but still I would rush to the end, touch the wall and get up. Nowadays when I do it, I usually  get around to 90% before I feel the urge to come up.

With the push ups it really came down to the mind over matter because I had pushed my body to its limits, some points making the muscles numb, and would still continue to push. My original goal was 100 push ups. Sounds simple right? It was and around the 80 push up mark I would start to have issues, but 20 more is just one more set I would tell myself. Eventually I would get into the habit of doing multiple kinds of push ups in one sitting. Getting myself to around 180 per time. At that point I wanted to see how many I could do at one time. Using breaks of course. I told myself go for 300….I managed to only get to 263. Instead of looking at that as a failure for not reaching my goal, I kept the mindset of the successful, I made it to TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE push ups, more than any other time before. The power of the mind to keep you going in hard times is immense. Always remember that.

One of the most fluid and complex Pillars is the spirituality of life. I don’t care what religion you believe in, this applies to you. Or even if you are atheist or agnostic.

This way of thinking helps center your internal essence, as keeping balance in life around you will balance the life within you as well.

I strive to meditate as much as I can, looking towards subjects like Reiki or Buddhist techniques. Simply because I have seen a difference in my life after trying them. Not because of any preexisting belief. I know the habit starting process is tough for anything, and some people quite scoff at the practice. I can assure it is much more wide spread than you might think!

In the 7 Chakra format, you have Chakras aligned in your body that to put in simple terms are spiraling pools of energy that flow between each other. When one is blocked, they all are as well. Some people might get mad at me for that simple depiction, but just go with it. If these channels cease to flow then it prevents the natural flow of energy in your body. Scientifically I like to think this is related to the electromagnetism of the body, or along the lines of thermodynamics. It makes much easier for the logical mind to understand and respect when looking at it this way.

Keeping this Chakras in balance will allow you to keep your internal energies flowing and working properly. Otherwise certain Chakras when blocked will affect your body and mind in different ways. Its worth a Google if you have time.

I want to take a second to acknowledge something. As I am typing I look down at myself, I see a Ying-Yang necklace, a wood bead Ganesha bracelet, and a Buddhist bead bracelet as well. This combination brings me joy as it shows the versatility of philosophy and learning. I didn’t stop myself from learning about different religions and philosophies. I didn’t say “oh this suits me, I’m going to stick to this from now on.” I kept going and learning more and more.

Phew this one had to come around, well lets get to it then! Emotions are no different from an ocean in my book. Some people with more logical minds will say that they keep their emotions more akin to steady streams, instead of an ocean. Alas I think this is total bullshit because the way the brain works is on a fundamental level. It comes down to our base reactions before our more advanced logic can actually function. They come from the subconscious level and seep upwards to the conscious.

Emotional stability is the hardest to master of the bunch. Ironically about a year ago when I was writing about a very similar topic I thought I had mine in control. Maybe for a time I did, but I’ve realized over the past couple months my emotions have been out of whack. Going every where and causing me to be irritable. That is no excuse just a fact. Realizing this I strive to keep them in line for the new year. Even if winter brings me down!

In order for you to control your emotions you have to know what you are truly feeling. This is where meditation and working out REALLY help. They help get you past some of the mental barriers keeping you from seeing what you truly feel. Other times it comes down to not suppressing them at all, let them flow through you.

This image above I love so much, it shows the sheer scale of the world, although quite small on the cosmic scale, with the simple text “Change the World.” this quote always resonates with me. I’m not making this blog as “save the world” kind of thing, but simply to make it into what it should become. I want to #makeachange into the world being a catalyst of innovation and compassion.

My favorite quote ever is Gandhi’s “Be the Change you wish to see in the world.”

I hope to be that change, and I hope to instill a world wide balance to life, love, and prosperity.

Happy Holidays!

No matter what you choose to believe in, try to have a wonderful holiday season. Embrace the heighten jolly nature in everyone, and respect the other holidays you may not celebrate. Don’t let any preconceived notions cause hatred just because someone celebrates differently than you.

Create a realm of peace in your home, family, and life. Brace yourself for the new year, and spread joy.

Make What You Are Doing Meaningful

In life we all have challenges, we all have strife, but it is the will of the strong and united to keep going. We are unique compared to one another. We are unique even compared to our previous self. The old you is not the same you now, and you will not be the same a year from now. You are not the same person who makes the same decisions because every experience you have changes you. For good or for bad, you have changed.

Use that change, that experience, and choose to move forward in the way you want to. Open your mind to the opportunities.

Change the world.

Productivity at it’s Finest

I’ve talked about improving your lives, and gave you different ways to improve certain aspects, but what about just the basic day to day life? Sure creating a workout habit, or meditation is in this world, but just take a look to this for a bit.

I aim myself to be the next great thinker of the time, I do not want to be the next Leonardo Da Vinci, for I would rather be better. I want to be the greatest of me that I can be. I idolize Da Vinci greatly, just told someone at the gym about how he kept in impeccable shape all of his life. Was able to bend iron bars with his bare hands even. I love that, and the fact that he was a polymath is still amazing to me.

Think of different ways to improve life, even the simplest thing if continued over a large period of time is one of the most important. One person said that if you only get better by 1% every day, then after a year you will be 365% better than you were before. I’m sorry I can’t cite the person. Think about that though, some people get caught up on the fact that it is only 1% but after a year that is more than monumentally greater. Not to mention that is only looking at the fact that you are improving by just one percent, who knows maybe one day you improve by 2 or even 3. It can all be better.

I believe everyone has the potential to be better than what they was before. I’m a completely different person than I was a year ago, just ONE YEAR ago. I’m more scared of what kind of person I can become in 20 years. Not that I will go down hill, quite the opposite:

Alright now lets get to the ways you can improve. I will start off with what I know well which is technology, and tech life hacks.

When using Google Chrome think about the different sites you go to regularly, is Facebook one of them? Is sites that improve your life, teach you something new, or this blog even. Are they among the regular sites? If not then that should change. I have been going to Facebook quite often, and as a result I deactivated it. Yes, that drastic, for it will keep me from even being tempted to go back for a bit. Now I can focus on blogging, self learning, etc.

Start fresh by deleting your history, it will cause you to have to retype all the URLs you go to, get rid of those bookmarks too!, and you can use this opportunity to NOT go to a time waster site.

Use extensions like Deluminate or Session Buddy. They both help with productivity and can be a life saver in the latter. Deluminate allows you to decrease the contrast and brightness which can be immensely useful for reading long articles online, or watching videos, especially when doing ANYTHING at night. Save your eyes the strain!

Session Buddy is even more useful as it allows you to save your current session for later, or find a page that you saw an hour ago that you lost, and go back and get it! I’ve used it when I found a bunch of articles I would like to write about on the U.L.C. but don’t have the time at that moment to write it all out. Or if I found a topic online that I really want to study, but happen to be about to go to work. I can save it all for later.

Session Buddy

Lastly but the most important of all of these is the new tab page. What is that you ask? Anytime you open a new tab you see this: NewNewTabPageChrome.PNG

Bland, boring, and most importantly disastrous to productivity. Prevents any form of use, and the redundancy of the search box is ridiculous. As you can search just from the omni-box above. What I say to you is replace this as quick as you can. I have two tabs I choose from that I love: Momentum and Leoh. Both of which I’ve used extensively. Currently I am using Leoh so that is what I will talk about. Though they both share similar traits.

They have a background of some beautiful scenery to get your mind going creatively, the clock right in the center (for those of you who hide the taskbar, like me), weather forecast (though doesn’t work everywhere), and what is really cool is the motivational quote that Momentum has. Both have todo lists, and quick links. I use the quick links for all of my knowledge and learning sites. So that it is easy to just open them up as soon as I open up my browser and get to learning quick.

Increase your motivation!

There are so many ways to do this on a daily basis. Firstly with motivation quotes, you can get posters or decals to put on the walls of your home. Get wallpapers for the desktop or homescreen of your technology. Even just google quotes for a quick boost. I keep myself going to a really cool YouTube Channel that is all about motivation and self-improvement.

Get more out of life!

Do not settle for average, and do not let yourself give up on your goals. Keep the determination. Follow the Four Pillars philosophy to help you along the way. It is only here to help you improve that is it.

You can #makeachange in your life. In the lives of the people around you, and YOU can #makeachange in the world!

Thank you for reading.

United Living People

The posts as of late has been following one simple theme for the most part, YOU. The people of the U.L.C. The ULCians, the people who will change the world. I want this to shine in your life, an aspect that you can be proud of, for maybe together we can #makeachange.

To know what we can do as a team, we must know who makes up that team itself. Like the older post about ULCians themselves stated, there are FOUR types of ULCians. The creators who create the world we live in, the Uniters who bring the people together to live in the world, The Leaders of that world to live, and finally the PolyULCians (The people who imbue all three top qualities rather equally).

These are the people who can be the beacons of light across the world, the symbols of what humanity can accomplish. I envision a great innovative city with every one of these types of people living together. Prosperously and unified these people lead the planet as a central form of leadership, one without previous inclinations to a certain way of life. One without any form of official history to stay a tradition to. At least as of the creation of it!

With this blank slate the city can live in peace without having to have anything holding it back, besides the world itself, which we can try to bring into the prosperity as we go. This city can be a catalyst of innovation, science, philosophy, enlightenment, and most importantly of all, peace.

Obviously the image above is a render and also not exactly what I envision, but it is there to simply share the idea of the city. (Credit to TLB Designs)

We want this to happen in the world, not just because I say so, but because if we don’t find some sort of centralized leadership then the only other choice for humanity is self-destruction. If we can create that leadership then the progress of humanity is ripe to begin once more. Currently the world is at a tipping point, with all of the chaos, and corruption there is not much to hope for…yet. We can create and spark that hope within anybody and everybody. Simply by creating this wonderful city. A “City of Tomorrow” if you will.

This is all fine and dandy, but reality must set in how can we do such a grand goal? There are many ways it can all go down. Really what it comes down to is all us to unify and be the very best person we can be. That is why the Four Pillars Philosophy was created as a personal manifestation of what the transformation of you into the perfect version of you can become. Simply put you can start that change into the perfect you by following the Four Pillars into every aspect of your life. This does not mean you have to give up your previous beliefs such as religion, philosophy, or maybe even lifestyle, but it does mean you can improve upon it. If you don’t have a physical workout routine, or the habit of meditating then now you have a reason to start one.

Go out and create, create the person you are meant to be!!!

My Mind Has Expanded

I think some of this has to do with as you get older your brain still develops and grows. Simply put though as of late I have been experiencing more and more “expansions” I guess you could say. I think with the combination of my lifestyle, the things I’ve been through, and the existential thoughts I have grown as a person. Now that I have leveled up I cannot go back down. They say ignorance is bliss, and it really is, for the more you know the more it weighs you down. The knowledge I seek out daily creates a new mindset each time. Maybe only increasing by 1 percent, but still increasing nonetheless.

Anytime I write on this blog I am not here to brag about myself, I am not here to solely share my own experiences, but as a person that is what we do as humans. We share our experiences. I might share other people’s like famous figures such as Tesla and Da Vinci, but I still write this blog for one. Simple. Reason.

To expand the progress of humanity.

I’ve shared my goal about making the United Living Construct the beacon of hope for humanity, the pinnacle of what human achievement can be. This is my goal. This has always been my goal, even if I didn’t know it. It is the path I feel I am fated to achieve. All I must do is figure out how to do it. I decided to create the U.L.C. as the conduit of this goal because of this it allows each and every one of you to share your goals with one another. We can strive to achieve many other great challenges facing each of you, all as a team. Teamwork is all about coming together to face a challenge. It doesn’t even have to be a common challenge. Until you make that goal into the common challenge.

I might not always make the best decisions, I am human after all, but I struggle every single day to make myself a better version of me. The ULCian version of me, the best I possibly can become. That is the definition of ULCian.

We are the people of the United Living Construct, we are the people of the world, and most importantly we are the people who will change the world.
