U.L.C. Thoughts: Da Vinci Inspired Technology

I said there would be more Technology thoughts in the future, and there will, but for now we are introducing a new segment. “U.L.C. Thoughts” which is essentially a mixture of Technology and Philosophy thoughts. I think this way is the perfect example of what the U.L.C. is about, the combination of Technology and Ideology in a uniform way. All of the posts the U.L.C. has made thus far are linked. They are inherently connected, some more than others, but all of them contain details about the U.L.C. as a whole, and they all lead up to this segment.

As a precursor to our post we were inspired by one on the website Fast Company:

http://www.fastcompany.com/3009902/creative-conversations/how-da-vinci-like-thinking-helps-you-imagine-future-success

It talks about how Leonardo Da Vinci was able to visualize the world in a unique fashion, and was able to create magnificent machines from his visualizations. Leonardo is a personal hero and idol of mine, for his genius and ingenuity is second to none. Not to mention he was one of the first, if not the first true Modern Renaissance men. Sounds funny to say “modern” for a man who lived centuries ago, but he truly was ahead of his time. His research delved into a variety of different sciences and studies. He was fascinated with the world around him, and that lead him to develop many great tech advances and philosophies. Sadly since most of his discoveries weren’t published they weren’t able to be available to the world until much later.

Although that is not the point here. The point to this “hero-worship” is to make the point that we ourselves can create wonderful inventions and discoveries. We can instill Da Vinci-like thinking within ourselves to cultivate a different mindset.

One source I highly recommend is the book “How to Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci; Seven Steps to Genius Every Day” by Michael J. Gelb http://www.amazon.com/How-Think-Like-Leonardo-Vinci/dp/0440508274/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1447182635&sr=8-1&keywords=How+to+Think+Like+Leonardo+Da+Vinci

We have the power and potential to create wonderful things in the world. I created this blog in order to create what I dream inside, and to spread this passion across the world. Instill a new ray of hope and creativity to everyone I can. I realize now that the only way for myself to spread is through ULCians themselves. A pay it forward sort of way.

Imagine a computer where it runs in a circular manner. A round PC if you will, and the electrical current comes in and completely runs around the PC in a circle, maximizing the energy usage. Any heat dissipation is collected and reused.

The software for the computer is a simple OS, one that is designed with immersion in mind. Windows has tried to convey this idea, but is too basic by nature to be simple. (Complicated idea i know). The OS, or as I like to call it “United OS”, would focus on being able to incorporate multiple senses as well as the ability to delve into the system. Either using motion controls or VR. Not even for the use for video gaming, purely for the productivity and versatility of the individual using it.

This does sound a bit naive of an idea, but this simplistic idea could very well be the next step in the world of technology as we know it. I thought of the idea by visualizing the technology in a 3D concept idea. I tried to invoke the inner Leonardo within myself.

This idea does belong to the U.L.C. but if you are able to create it in any form please contact us. We would like to aid in any way.

Thank you for reading and I hope this idea speaks to you in any way.
